Windemere's 2010 Champions

We at WINDEMERE have had a great year and feel very fortunate thatsome of our friends have played a roll in finishing 13, yes a Baker's Dozen, Champions and 3 Grand Champions this year! I would like to take this opportunity to display them all

FIRST OF ALL THE GRAND CHAMPIONS
GRAND CHAMPION WINDEMERE'S DUSTING OF WHITE AT PVEYNE.

Dusty is co-bred and co-owned by Cody Koch and myself and exclusively shown by Cody. We are looking forward to his specials career next year.

GRAND CHAMPION WINDEMERE'S DIFFERENT SHADE OF WHITE

Silver Streak was bred here at WINDEMERE and exclusively shown by myself. Hoping to further the white Pekingese across the Country we have sent him to Ruth West in Missouri where he will be specialled next year.

GRAND CHAMPION WINDEMERE'S IN GOLD WE TRUST

Nugget was bred here at WINDEMERE and is the product of semen that had been frozen for 9 years. Gold Fever was one of the finest dogs I have ever bred and was the top-winning Specialty Best In Show Pekingese in 1995, shown by Janet Allen. Nugget achieved his Grand Championship at 16 months of age.

CH. WINDEMERE'S SOMETHIN' TO TALK ABOUT

Bingo was conditioned, trained and exclusively shown by my good friend Marie Schloos, a Japanese Chin breeder in Washington state. He is still living the life of luxury among the Chins.

CH. WINDEMERE'S RED CRUSH

Crush is co-owned with my friend and fellow Pekingese breeder, Janet Allen. She is the litter sister to Ch. Windemere's Torch Song and is biding her time waiting to be bred to Gr Ch. Windemere's Dusting of White At Pevyne. We expect great things there.

Sire: CH. WINDEMERE'S REMEMBER ME

Dam: TAIBEL SOPHISTICATION

CH. WINDEMERE'S IN GOLD WE TRUST

Nugget is one of those exceptional show dogs that will show for anyone. He won his first major with me at barely 6 months but Cody had to take over for me when I got deathly ill during a three-day circuit. Nugget was still in the 6 to 9 puppy class and Cody won 2 majors with him that weekend. I was so enamored with this dog that I was unhappy because he was finishing so fast! I did get to put the last major on him though at the age of 11 months

Check under Grand Champions for his sire and dam.

CH. WINDEMERE'S DUSTING OF WHITE AT PEVYNE

Dusty was born here at Windemere and remained here until I felt

I could make the pick from the three males. At that time he was sent to Cody who is having a phenomenal show career with him. What a fun dog to show, and SO correct!

Check under Grand Champions for his sire and dam.

CH. WINDEMERE'S ARTISTRY ON THE ICE

Paris is the well-known story of the ugly duckling turning into the swan! She didn't carry much coat as a puppy but her perfect body kept her winning with me in the puppy classes. Cody needed a bitch to show so took Paris home with him, conditioned her and handed her to his friend Landen Flournoy at ringside.

This was the first peke that Landon had ever shown but Paris never made a mistake and finished in three weekends with a Best Of Breed over several male Specials. Well done! She is co-owned with Cody and is waiting to be bred to Ch. Dusty.

Sire: CH. WINDEMERE'S ROMANCING THE ICE (ROMEO)

Dam: WINDEMERE'S NIGHT JAZZMIN

CH. WINDEMERE'S FLIRTING WITH FAME

Disco was a very promising puppy and was sent to my handler as a puppy where he won 6 points before going completely out of coat. He was sent back home to grow adult coat and unfortunately I ignored him when I should have been working with him. When we realized he was ready to go back in the ring the damage had been done. He wanted no part of it. Enter Laura Markham who works part time for me. With her perseverance and literally living with him he came around and won his last two majors with her to finish his championship. This would not have happened without her dedication. He is a litter brother to Ch. Bingo.

Dam: WINDEMERE'S FROSTED CHABLIS ROM

CH. WINDEMERE'S TAKING A CHANCE ON LOVE

Chance is another homebred dog and excels in soundness and type. Unfortunately, he is a half brother to Ch. Silver Streak so I really don't need him in my breeding program. It was his Championship that made his white dam a Register Of Merit bitch.

Sire: BISA, BISS, CH LINN-LEE'S YOUNG LOVE

Dam: WINDEMERE'S FROSTED CHABLIS

CH. WINDEMERE'S IN IT TO WIN IT

Cutter became a Champion at 14 months and, as you can see from the picture, he is taking his time to mature. He is a litter brother to the glamorous Gr Ch. Windemere's Dusting of White At Pevyne so is co-bred and co-owned with Cody Koch.

Sire: GR CH. WINDEMERE'S DIFFERENT SHADE OF WHITE

Dam: CH. LINN-LEE'S SOMMER DAYS AT PEVYNE

CH.WINDEMERE'S FOLLOW THE DREAM

The lovely Miss Diva!! She is the epitome of what a bitch should be and is waiting in the wings to be bred to Gr Ch. Dusty. Diva is the litter sister of Gr Ch. Nugget and strongly resembles the sires side of her pedigree. She is co-owned with Cody and will be a real asset to our line.

Sire: CH. WINDEMERE'S GOLD FEVER SINGLEE

Dam: CH. WINDEMERE'S TORCH SONG

CH. WINDEMERE'S REMEMBER I'M WHITE TAIBEL

Angelique is so pretty you could almost eat her with a spoon! She is from a litter of four girls and is the only white in the litter. Co-ownership was given to my very good friend Beryl Williams when she was still a baby and between the both of us she managed to finish her championship with four majors at the tender age of 10 months—quite a record for a white. She is absolutely sound with a wonderful temperament and should be an asset to both our lines. She was co-bred with my friend Julie Ward. This is Chablis' fifth Champion—the only white bitch to ever achieve this.

Sire: CH. WINDEMERE'S REMEMBER ME

Dam: WINDEMERE'S FROSTED CHABLIS

CH. WINDEMERE'S BLACK ICE

Taylor is Paris's litter sister. There were 3 whites, 1 fawn and 1 black in this litter and the fawn girl is also in the show ring. Taylor exudes confidence in the ring and has never put a foot down wrong once she decided this was what she was meant to do. In her last weekend of shows she was Best of Winners over the males 3 days to finish her championship. She is co-owned with Julie Ward and will be bred in the Spring.

Sire: CH. WINDEMERE'S ROMANCING THE ICE (ROMEO)

Dam: WINDEMERE'S NIGHT JAZZMIN

CH. WINDEMERE'S CAN'T TOUCH THIS (Scooter)

Scooter recently finished his championship, winning his majors under two well respected judges: Edd Biven and William Cunningham. He is a fantastic showman--all I had to do was hold on to the lead--and is quite a crowd pleaser. He is a cream,a son of my Grand Champion Silver Streak and a small red bitch. He is rock solid sound all around, has a great head, level topline and high tail set. He will be an asset to any breeding program and can certainly look forward to a specialls career when he is a little older. His date of birth is 8-21-09.

Sire: CH. WINDEMERE'S DIFFERENT SHADE OF WHITE

Dam: WINDEMERE'S MINUTE MAID

CH. WINDEMERE'S GREAT GATSBY AT TAIBEL

Gatsby went to my very good friend, Beryl Williams, as a co-owned puppy and under her caring, training and showing finished his championship at the age of 11 months. We will now let him grow up before putting him back in the ring for his Grand Championship. This is an exceptional puppy--one of three males from this breeding--and we expect all of them to be champions.
